MCAS needs a thorough investigation from a third party. Many questions unanswered!

Do not take your dogs here. They claim to be a no kill shelter but if your dog has any medical issues they will kilL them

I adopted an older tiny dog who had been found as a stray. The people at the shelter were lovely and brought her long neglected medical care up to date. 3 years later she is a happy member of our pack. Bargain!

I was looking to adopt a dog here but when I walked into the dog adoption section, it needed to be better organized and maintained. The dog adoption section had three dogs with kennel cough which had signs on their gate “do not pet me” and a female dog that was in heat. I think that multnomah county animal shelter needs to better properly seperate the animals that have health concerns instead of mix them all together in one hallway of the dog adoption section.

Okay so earlier today I had called because of some cat, I dont know whos it is and id ont freaking care . My main concern was its head looked badly bashed up, it had blood dripping on the side of its head and it looks like something was gushing out of his/her ear. I had stayed 20-30 minutes with the cat, but i did not want to touch because my dog was with me at the time. The animal shelter had came and went under the deck where the cat was hiding obviously because it was scared, the animal control person which i do not know his name scared the cat away. Arent you trianed for this? He later then comes up to me when the cat is long gone and says ” it looked like something had bit him/her , he or she is moblie”. Saying he could do nothing else but ask my manager whos cat it was. They obviously dont care for it!!!!!!!! It was showing obvious signs of abuse. I am so disappointed and clearly upset. If i could rate this lower i would. -100/5
